Don’t know how to play Bridge but would like to learn? The AEC has volunteers that will sit with you and teach you how to play the game. Each Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. a small group of people get together to learn the skill. At 1:00PM we play Bridge. Stop in and join us.
This is a very relaxed time that each person brings in their own project and works on it while enjoying each others company. If you have questions on something that you are working on, you have many people who will be willing and able to figure it out. Men and women bring in a plethora of projects to work on while socializing. Stop in and join us for a special time for yourself!
Learn the skill of stained glass with the help of instructor Ron Pepper along
with the help of other students. You will be instructed step by step by a very
experienced professional. From picking out specific glass to choosing a pattern,
Ron will be there to help you. The class is offered every Wednesday & Thursday for advanced students, Tuesdays for beginners only beginning at 1:30 p.m. You work at your own pace and you attend as your schedule allows. Join at any time!
What I teach is not a bunch of seemingly impossible poses you see in magazines and TV. I teach a gentle slow Yoga, therapeutic rather than for fitness at Allen Eiry. We are in chairs, standing and going to the floor is optional. Several students remain in chairs with modifications from the floor poses. This Yoga is ideal for inactive seniors or if you suffer from illness, injury, obesity, limited mobility or more. It moves the joints and body increasing body awareness, circulation, digestion, respiration, strength, flexibility, stress management, coordination, balance and more. It does not require any special equipment or clothing. What it does require is your will to have a healthier, stress-free self. Everyone is made comfortable in my class no matter their level of flexibility or inflexibility. And we also have fun. I look forward to seeing and helping you enjoy the benefits of Yoga.

Thursday is the day to join us at 1:00 p.m. to enjoy some pinochle! You don’t have to have a partner, just stop in.
Starting in April each Monday, Wednesday & Friday morning from 8:30am—10:00am we will have Coffee Hour! Hostess Joyce Lynch will be greeting you with a smile. This is a relaxing, social time for everyone to enjoy. We hope to see you here!

BEGINNING QUILTING CLASS
Beginner quilting classes will be held each Friday from 10:00—11:30am. Instructor Sara Welly will be teaching you the basic skills. Sara is very patient and willing to teach any quilting skills that you may want to learn. There is an $1.00 charge for each class which will continue throughout the year. Registration is not required.
